Dioscorea SNEDDS (>40% Diosgenin)
A bioavailability-enhanced botanical formulated to support training performance, cognitive function, and exercise readiness. Utilizing advanced lipid delivery, this standardized Dioscorea extract is engineered to increase the absorption of lipophilic compounds like Dioscin and Diosgenin to support muscle quality, brain health, and workout adaptation.
Verified Purity: Official Certificate of Analysis
Transparency and trust are our top priorities. We utilize official third-party lab testing to ensure our standardized extracts meet the highest quality and safety standards. Our Dioscorea extract is officially verified for its high active concentration.
View Official Lab COAThe SNEDDS Advantage
Active botanical compounds like Dioscin and Diosgenin are highly beneficial, but they are naturally lipophilic, meaning they have poor absorption on their own. We formulated this product using a Self-Nanoemulsifying Dietary Delivery System (SNEDDS) with specialized excipients to bypass this issue.
SNEDDS literally increases the bioavailability and permeability of active botanical compounds. It helps bypass first-pass metabolism and leads to a good amount of the botanical compounds going straight to the bloodstream. It is formulated for enhanced dispersion, engineered for better delivery so your body can actually absorb the active botanical compounds efficiently.
Training Performance & Support
Diosgenin has a molecular structure remarkably similar to that of DHEA.
-
Supports Muscle Function. When combined with resistance training, standardized Dioscorea has been researched for its ability to support exercise readiness and overall muscle quality.
-
Anabolic Ceiling. Diosgenin carries strong theoretical potential as a natural anabolic for muscle, it is a steroidal sapogenin with meaningful anabolic signaling properties. While Osstivia currently holds more published muscle data (Ursolic Acid, Oleanolic Acid, Salidroside), Diosgenin's overall ceiling for muscle support may be even higher.
-
Standardized Extract. Engineered for better delivery, this formulation provides a highly concentrated, standardized dose (>40% Diosgenin) to ensure consistent support without the drawbacks of synthetic harsh compounds.
Neuroprotection & Cognitive Performance
Diosgenin demonstrates remarkable neuroprotective potential, unlocking new possibilities for brain health when bioavailability is optimized.
-
Brain Bioavailability. The historical issue with Diosgenin for brain diseases has been absorption. However, a recent paper demonstrated that utilizing a SNEDDS formulation drastically increased the brain bioavailability of Diosgenin in mouse models, showing immense promise for human use.
-
Cognitive Support. Beyond theoretical models, placebo-controlled human trials have shown that Dioscorea extracts provide meaningful improvements in cognitive performance, demonstrating strong potential for overall neuro-support.
Metabolic Conditioning
-
Glucose Metabolism. Dioscorea has been studied for its role in upregulating GLUT-4 signaling and translocation, which supports healthy glucose metabolism and systemic balance.
New Measurement Dosing System
We have upgraded from drops to a precise measurement dropper (mL) for ease of use. Start Low: We recommend starting at 0.5 mL and building up to the maximum dose of 2.0 mL daily.
How long will your bottle last?
| Daily Dose | 30mL Bottle | 60mL Bottle |
|---|---|---|
| 0.5 mL (Low) | 2 Months | 4 Months |
| 1.0 mL | 1 Month | 2 Months |
| 1.5 mL | 20 Days | 40 Days |
| 2.0 mL (Max) | 2 Weeks | 1 Month |
Note: 10 drops is approximately 0.5 mL. Max recommended dose is 2mL/day.
