"To make way for future products with stronger clinical data, human data, and more real-world data, we will be removing one of our experimental products that has been taking extra time from my hands. That is time I could use to push more interesting and powerful products forward.

This change will not happen immediately, but you can expect one of our oldest running products to be discontinued at some point; Humulus Japonicus SNEDDS.

Although I loved researching this product and loved making it for you guys, I have to make time and room for bigger things, bigger plans, and bigger projects.

Maybe someday, if better studies on this product come out or if science finds the perfect standardization that works best, I would consider bringing it back."

A Note on Efficacy: It is important to note that Japonicus is being discontinued to free up resources for larger future projects, not due to a lack of efficacy. Many customers have reported really promising results regarding height gains. Humulus japonicus is naturally lipophilic, making it difficult to absorb. Average supplements cannot bypass first-pass metabolism and end up destroyed during digestion. We are actively advancing the science by solving this gap.

Straight to the Bloodstream. Ossialabs uses a Self nano-emulsifying dietary delivery system (SNEDDS) that dramatically increases the bioavailability and permeability of active compounds. This helps bypass first-pass metabolism, allowing a significant amount of the botanical compound to go straight into the bloodstream.

Experimental Research & Support

Recent preclinical papers (May 2025 release) have highlighted H. japonicus for its significant potential in bone growth promotion.

Important: Japonicus is highly dose-dependent. You need to make sure your growth plates are opened if you are wanting to get some height gains.

We Are The Human Studies. Rat studies are mainly used to identify promising botanicals. While rat and human digestion differ, botanical compounds can and do modulate biological pathways across species. By using SNEDDS to solve the human digestion gap, we are testing its true potential. This product is strictly experimental for height—our community is serving as the early human studies, with formal trials planned for the future.
Preclinical Mechanisms. Findings point towards the modulation of IGF-1 and Growth Hormone (GH) levels, acting via the JAK3/STAT5/IGF1 pathways to support vertical growth and bone health.
Preclinical Data & Patents. In controlled studies, high-dose groups demonstrated significant longitudinal bone growth rate increases, with femur and tibia length enhancements comparable to the Growth Hormone (GH) control group. Micro-CT scans also revealed significantly denser trabecular bone microarchitecture. Furthermore, the extract is backed by a recognized U.S. Patent for its composition in promoting height growth.

Care, Usage & Taste Profile

Do NOT: Do not refrigerate. Do not place near the sun or in super warm liquids. Do NOT shake if the product is already diluted.
You CAN: Take Japonicus by itself or put it in water to drink. You can drink other beverages before or after taking it.
Best Time. Many customers prefer to take it before sleep.
Taste Profile. This is an advanced formulated product without sugary fillers. Some users (including the founder) find the excipients strong, while others don't mind it. It is an acquired taste you will get used to.
